What’s Happening?
We received permission to begin meeting at The House Cafe weekly! We’ve been meeting only monthly over the last three months. We will begin weekly services starting July 12th!

Prayer Support:
Now that we know we’re going to be having weekly worship gatherings beginning July 12th pray that we will continue to work hard to be prepared for them, as well, that we would able maintain a high standard of excellence. Pray too that weekly services would be profitable for our leaders, or people, and our city.
Be praying that we continue to meet some new “townies” over the second half of the summer. Cherron was able to meet a few of our neighbors this week which was another great opportunity to begin new relationships with them and share our vision for a new church here.
Pray that we would continue to love all of the people in our city, not just the people we feel safe around
Pray that God would bring us to people who are ready to hear the Gospel and to hear and receive the Gospel
Financial Support:
We missed our fundraising goal for June by a little less than $2000. Yikes! Coupled with that bad news we also found out that our health insurance is going up $200 each month.
The funds we raise represent the bare minimum needs that we have for our ministry here in DeKalb. If you’re able to give, any amount helps. We still need about about 20 people who can give $40 a month.
Giving can be done both through the website at www.reachingdekalb.net or by mailing checks to our sending church, Redeemer Fellowship at 1125 Oak Street St. Charles, IL 60174
I don’t say it enough, so, thank you to our friends, supporters, and partners. Especially our friends at Hunters’ Glen Baptist Church in Texas and our friends at Redeemer Fellowship in St. Charles, IL, and too many of our personal family members, (Jacob your faithfulness is impressive!)
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now.”
We would not be accomplishing what we are for the sake of Christ and the Gospel without you! Praying that you will be challenged and find ways to continue to support us with your words of encouragement, your prayers, and your financial support.
Grace and Peace,
Jamie
